THE STORY BEHIND OUR FIRST THEME "INDI"

We were once caught in a whirlwind of choices so many colors, so many ideas. But what truly fascinated us were the rivers and the animals that live within them. Their vibrant lives, flowing waters, and natural beauty always inspired a deep sense of wonder.

Yet, as time passed, we found ourselves feeling a growing sadness. The rivers that we admired were no longer clear and pure. They were polluted, burdened by waste and chemicals, their waters choked and life struggling to survive.

In searching for answers, we came across a startling truth the very clothes we wear every day are a major reason why our water bodies are suffering. The dyes, the chemical processes, and the factory waste from textile production contaminate rivers worldwide. Not only that but producing these fabrics consumes enormous amounts of water that these ecosystems desperately need.

This realization made us pause and rethink our approach to color, fabric, and sustainability.

And so, for our first theme, we chose Indi inspired by the deep, calming shades of indigo, the natural dye historically used in India, known for its rich blues that reflect rivers and skies. Indigo dyeing is not only a tradition but also a symbol of a more mindful way of creating color-one that honors nature rather than harming it.

By embracing Indi, we celebrate the heritage of natural dyes and pay tribute to the rivers that once flowed clear and vibrant. It’s our way of reconnecting with the environment and encouraging thoughtful choices in fashion choices that respect the planet and protect its precious water.

Because every thread, every shade, has a story and this one is about hope, heritage, and healing.
